- Family planning
- Adolescent/young adult first GYN appointments
In addition to annual visits, testing and treatment is provided for:
- Menstrual problems
- Infertility issues
- UTIs
- Vaginal infections and sexually transmitted diseases, both female and male
- Postpartum blues, depression and childbirth trauma or pregnancy loss support, counseling and treatment
At each visit expect a comprehensive 45 minute to 1 hour long appointment. A complete exam and review of your health history is provided and all findings are discussed openly. Labs are drawn in office, and Brigitte maintains full prescriptive authority if pharmaceuticals are needed.
Herbal, pharmaceutical and nutritional remedies may be recommended. Extensive laboratory testing can be ordered if needed.
INSURANCE:
Brigitte does not participate in any insurance plans. Fees for all visits include administrative costs and specimen transport. Laboratories bill insurance companies directly for their services. Reduced fees may be available for those who seek midwifery care and have no insurance or ability to pay the full rate; however payment is expected at the time of the visit. We accept credit card payments at the time of visit. Most major credit cards are accepted. A medical claim form will be provided for you to submit to your insurance provider. They may reimburse you if you have “out of network” benefits.
